BLUE LURES
What is Blue LURES?
Blue Lures is designed as a prevention and diversionary tool for local police to have positive, informal interactions which help build trust and break down barriers between youth and police. Blue Lures engages with at-risk youth aged 8-17 years in a constructive and supportive environment, using fishing as a medium to build positive relationships with local police and promote personal development. Blue Lures is unique among youth initiatives in its capacity to reach populations across regional and rural geographies of QLD. We take the program to the participants.
